FRANCOPHILE GROUP

In 2022-23 we held our summer dinner to mark Bastille Day at L’ Hermitage Bistro in Occoquan. Our other programs included a presentation on current affairs in France by Dianne Adelberg, and discussions of books of interest to our members. These included books by M.L. Longworth, Jean-Luc Bannalec, Philip Ogley, and Gertrude Stein.

GOURMET OUT

In November, we visited Kung Fu Kitchen on Duke Street in Alexandria. This was our first outing since the pandemic. The restaurant offers a creative variety of Manchurian cuisine.
